What Happens Next?
The receptionist will process the referral and verify insurance (must be Medicaid/Lovelace/Blue Cross Blue Shield eligible).If the consumer qualifies for services:
- The receptionist will schedule an appointment for a Mental Health Assessment with the clinician.
- The consumer will attend the Mental Health Assessment appointment, during which the consumer and clinician will determine which program(s) the consumer will benefit from.
- A therapist and/or BMS Specialist will be assigned to the case and will contact the consumer to begin services.
